Great value! Problem is, I had the country fried steak mashed potatoes, peas, baked beans and coconut pie with sweet tea.
Went to the holiday for dinner. Ordered the shrimp. I asked the waitress if I could add a catfish filet to my shrimp. The waitress was very polite and stated that the old lady that runs the place said that if I wanted to add a filet then I could buy the whole platter. In other words $12 for one filet.
The food was good, very reasonably priced. 9.95 for a meat and 3 sides plus dessert you can't beat that. Plus it's homemade.
This place is the bees knees brother . Best cheese cake around

Stingy and very ungrateful for the customers. We will not be back and will most definitely turn anyone else away from this place.
Food was good service was poor. I could have walked out with our food without paying. My waitress left had to chase her down to give tip, shift change and new waitress stayed in kitchen for quite a while. Checked on us once. Dang I probably could have took cash register too........
I had the "Friday special"; one meat, three sides, coconut pie, and sweet tea for $10.00 including tax.

The country fried steak was one eighth of an inch thick and tasted like oil. The so-called mashed potatoes were lumpy but mixed half and half with instant potatoes and I don't know. Peas were ok, baked beans were not good. Everything was warm but not tastful.
